Who We Are

Richview Community Care Services Corporation (RCCSC) is a non-profit, charitable, community agency. We offer a range of home support services to eligible tenants living in the Richview Residence complex and surrounding community which are funded by the Central West Local Integration Health Network (LHIN).

Our Vision

Our vision is to create viable alternatives to institutionalization that build tolerant communities where all older adults can reside in their own homes irrespective of disability. We seek to enable persons to age-in-place through the provision of community support services that are least intrusive and most empowering. We value:

     · individual autonomy
     · the rights of frail older adults to make informed
       decisions about their care and living choices

Mission

To strive to enable people in the Richview Residence/Community who have complex health and social needs to continue to live in their own apartment/home for as long as possible through the provision of community support services.

Agency Goals

     · increase independence and enable individuals to
       improve or maintain their functioning level;
     · enhance quality of life through
       empowerment and health promotion initiatives;
     · improve family caregivers’ capacity to care by
       supporting and working collaboratively with them;
     · enable individual to avoid or delay a move
       to an institution.
